It says the receiver must ensure the message is received in its entirety, understood, and acknowledged to the sender. Now I get that in today's modern world of instant send and receive we can do this fairly easily. But I don't see where any of this comes out of the model or how Shannon-Weaver would have thought up the concept to begin with.
